The Only Thing That Matters in Baseball | Baseball Bits
PATREON: / foolishbaseball TWEETER: / foolishbb _________________________________________________________ It's the count. That's what matters in baseball. It's how you navigate the count. There are 12 different counts in Major League Baseball, with some highlights being the 0-2 count, 3-0 count, and 3-2 count aka full count. In this video, we'll discuss them all, but emphasize when needed. 3 ball counts and 2 strike counts are naturally more interesting than others. Many MLB players will be used to illustrate my point, including Mookie Betts, Max Scherzer, Luis Arraez, Mike Trout, Aaron Nola, Kodai Senga, Sonny Gray, Gleyber Torres, DJ LeMahieu, Cristian Javier, Joey Votto, and Edwin Diaz. Baseball strategy will be a big topic here as well. What do the numbers say about swinging at the first pitch? How about a 3-0 count swing? You might be surprised. All this, and much much more, will be revealed in this episode of Baseball Bits, a Foolish Baseball production. __________________________________________________________ Youtubers vs College Baseball Team: • YouTubers VS A Real College Baseball Team Soundtrack from Maxo: / maxoelectronic https://maxoisnuts.bandcamp.com/
