How School Meals Changed Everything for This Ugandan Student

Triumph used to walk to school hungry in Karamoja, Uganda—a region affected by poverty and poor learning outcomes. Concentrating in class was impossible on an empty stomach. Today, he is one of 200,000 students receiving daily hot meals through WFP Uganda's School Feeding Programme in 284 schools, improving enrolment and attendance while contributing millions of dollars to the local economy through purchases from local smallholder farmers.
