Así Perdieron La Vida Los Actores de CARRUSEL

Discover which actors from the hit children's telenovela "Carrusel" have passed away. It's the Mexican version of the children's telenovela "Señorita Maestra." The adaptation for Mexico was produced by Valentín Pimstein for Televisa, with supervision from Abel Santa Cruz. The story introduces us to a group of young children who are always accompanied by their loving and kind teacher, Miss Jimena, who gives them advice and reprimands them when they've misbehaved. Within this school, we find stereotypes reflecting children from different socioeconomic classes, such as the rich girl, the joker, the lazy one, the hard worker, the poor one, the innocent one, the outcast, etc. The show also features a unique character, Cirilo, a charming Black boy who falls in love with María Joaquina, the rich girl at school, who constantly rejects Cirilo because of his skin color. The story aims to address the various problems children face both at school and at home. An important aspect is that the playful boys have a boys' club where they plot how to change the world and how to save one of their friends when he's in trouble. In retaliation, the girls form their own club with the same goal. Everyone gets caught up in fun adventures and children's games. Sadness arrives when teacher Jimena has to be absent for a few days, making life impossible for substitute teacher Susana, and causing more trouble with the grumpy principal, who, although she pretends not to like them, secretly adores them. The same happens with Don Fermín, the school's loyal doorman and affectionate friend of the children, who looks after and protects them, and who frequently has them visit his little house within the World School.
