Widnes & British Lions Rugby League Legend, Jim Mills, shares his incredible journey | North Sydney

Jim Mills, the name that sent shivers down your spine if he were your opposite number on the Footy field. A proud Welshman who left home to seek his Rugby League fortunes in England for Halifax, before getting scouted for the North Sydney Bears in Australia, playing alongside immortal, Ken Irvine. Jim Mills would return to England and play in one of the Great teams of all time, Widnes, the 'Cup King's', as well as touring with the British Lions on numerous occasions, and playing in the World Cup for his beloved Wales. Jim was tough, feared, and never took a backward step on the field, and even though his career seemingly seemed in turmoil at the 1975 World Cup, Jim managed to etch himself into the history books as one of the best props and athletes to come from Wales, as he was inducted into the Welsh Sports Hall of fame.
