The IBM PS/1 Model 2011 was IBM’s reentry to home computers after the miserable failure of the PCjr. It is a fascinating mix between PC compatibility and very IBM-specific design choices, like it runs DOS from ROM and has a very unique aproach to usability. But honestly, who builds the PSU for the computer into the CRT? Is it a big deal to replace the CMOS battery, and can the broken ALPS floppy drive still be saved, or at least replaced by a standard component.
