TTAs to Lydney - 37418 delivers the NWPG's eleven TTAs to the Forest of Dean Railway; 07/03/2023
On the afternoon of Tuesday 7th March 2023 the National Wagon Preservation Groups eleven TTA tanks arrived at the Forest of Dean Railway to start their era in preservation. Running as 6Z42 0945 Gascoigne Wood Sidings to Lydney Up Goods Loop and hauled by 37418 "An Comuun Gaidhealach" it took over seven hours to reach it's destination. We see the consist cross the mainline into Lydney Up Goods Loop then running through Lydney Junction station before heading up the FGR's line. Correction: It's been pointed out that 37418 is not a DRS loco but actually privately owned by Steve Beniston and at the time of filming was on hire to LORAM.
