Sports Day 2017 - Instrumental

We managed to dodge the showers and have a brilliant Sport's Day today. With so many closely contested track and field events, it was impossible to call which house would win! With all our medals generously sponsored by Cavanagh Free Range Eggs, it helped make the day extra memorable. We even had Mrs. Eileen Hall run in our Staff Relay Team! Our Year 13 Hospitality students brought an extra dimension to the day with a charity 'Sponge the teacher' event, 'dash for cash draw' and a treat sale, all raising valuable funds for the NSPCC. During the awards ceremony the achievements of the day were celebrated. Then the overall Sport's Day Winning House was announced. Well done to Tully for finishing in first place. Thanks to all the staff for officiating, scorekeeping, announcing, baking, supporting, and helping. A fantastic day was had by all and a huge well done to every athlete who took part in today's events.
