Don Rich Crash site found. I

His home and motorcycle crash site is found. Don Rich was Buck Owen's, right-hand man. Leader of the Buckaroos. On the afternoon of July 17th, 1974 he crashed his motorcycle while on vacation. Buck pleaded with him not to ride his bike. Don Rich was instrumental in developing the Bakersfield sound. Don Rich and Buck Owens were very close friends. Buck Owens was never the same he said and he never got over the death of Don Rich. Don started out as a meat cutter in a grocery store.
