One word of advice, if you do go, pick a time when the Lake Iseo Floating Piers are out. What a feat! Visiting the Italian lakes but keen to avoid the typical tourist trap? Lake Iseo is a beautiful Italian lake with so much to offer both the relaxed traveler and the more adventurous. We tackled two hike in one day while I was 6 months pregnant. The first was a hilly hike along the Pirimidi Di Zone trail to see the incredible natural pyramids. The second was a flat walk along the East side of Lake Iseo itself, passing roller bladers, runners, walkers, cyclists, fishermen, and divers along the way. We also visited some of the local towns dotted around lake Iseo and simply fell in love with this beautiful place.
