🦌 I’m Building a Backyard Wildlife Cam & Healing Oasis After 50 🦌

Today begins a new project on Molly on the Move: transforming a quiet little corner of Virginia into a peaceful backyard wildlife cam and healing oasis. Over the past few years, I’ve been on a journey of finding myself after 50. Many of you have followed along through my ambient walks in Washington, DC, New York City, the Ozarks, and beyond. Those miles of walking became part of my healing and now this open field, a few trees, and the wildlife that wanders through are becoming part of the next chapter. In this first video, I introduce the backyard oasis project, move an old swing closer to the camera, relocate a shepherd’s hook bird feeder, and begin shaping the space into something peaceful for me, for the animals, and for anyone who needs a quiet place to check in and relax. My hope is to build this space slowly over the next few months with bird feeders, flowers, native plants, cozy yard art, and wildlife-friendly areas that attract birds, deer, turkeys, raccoons, groundhogs, and whatever else decides to visit. This is also the beginning of my Virginia backyard wildlife live cam, inspired by peaceful nature cams like ‪@NashvilleBirdCam‬‪@BrownvillesFoodPantryForDeer‬ and other relaxing wildlife streams where viewers can check in, unwind, and watch nature unfold in real time. Subscribe and follow along as this little field becomes a healing oasis, one imperfect project at a time. #BackyardWildlifeCam #WildlifeCam #HealingAfter50 #VirginiaWildlife
