The Bellarmine Combat Robotics Competition (BCRC), founded in 2022, is a high-level combat robotics organization that mentors students and organizes events to enrich the sport of combat robotics in Northern California. The BCRC's first public tournament, Bell Brawls 2022, was hosted on December 4th, 2022. 8 teams of high-school age from various organizations and teams across California gathered at Bellarmine College Preparatory to compete in a 15-match bracket in the BCRC's unique 30-square-foot octagonal arena. Culverizer, a horizontal spinner created by the BCRC team Culver Commanders, placed second at Bell Brawls 2022.
