Traveling 3000 km from India to Bangladesh with no money and just a backpack? It sounds like a crazy plan, but to change my life, that's exactly what I took on. I ran into street scammers, people tried to sell me black market stuff, and once again I had problems finding a place to sleep. In India, the cheapest hostels aren't keen on accepting foreigners. That caused a lot of trouble and forced me to wander alone through Mumbai. It could have ended really badly. I finally found a way to make some money and recover my luggage — though that turned out not to be so simple either. I'm slowly getting fed up with this city and want to leave, but my Bangladesh visa is still blocking me.
