The Big L Biopic "Put It On" That Never Got Finished – Exclusive Trailer

"Put It On" the said Big L biopic was filmed in Harlem during the pandemic in 2020, this was meant to be the definitive Big L biopic—filmed on the very streets he walked. Written by Jesse Daze Swindell, better known as Lord Daze, produced by Scrilla Guerillaz Films and Ey3visionfilms, and directed by Kevin Townley, this trailer was originally created as a sizzle to secure funding and get the film picked up by a network, then reshoot the full project. Joey BadAzz had signed on to portray Big L for the official project. Big Don (Big L's brother) was initially a partner on this project then passed the executive producer position on to his nephew (lil Lee) Unfortunately, the project was cut short due to differences with other members of Big L’s family, the estate and the tragic passing of our partner, Leroy Phinazee (Big L’s nephew lil Lee). Though the film was never completed, we still have the full 120 page script intact and considering putting it up for auction, hoping that someone else can continue the journey and bring the Big L story to life.
