It has been almost 25 years since the mythical nightclub RoXY burned down completely in the summer of 1999. Together with former RoXY toilet lady and former UvA student Erna Rijsdijk, Folia looked back into the glory days of Amsterdam's house palace during the exhibition 'Wie danst is vrij' in the city archives. “The individuality of people was very important for the RoXY.”
