What a season it's been. Season 5 of Abbott Elementary recently wrapped up in April 2026 and now it's time for the cold opens you've been waiting for. Abbott Elementary is a workplace comedy about a group of teachers and their principal at a predominantly Black public school in Philadelphia, while they're being followed around by a camera crew 24/7. The show premiered with a special preview in December 2021 and received a pretty positive review. Abbott Elementary is an Emmy and Golden Globe winning show. The show is created by Quinta Brunson, who also stars. The show is also held together by the outstanding supporting cast: Tyler James Williams, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti, Janelle James, and William Stanford Davis.
