#skoda #elroq #ev The Skoda Elroq is the brand's latest EV, following in the successful footsteps of the larger Enyaq iV! The Elroq is also based on the Volkswagen Group MEB Platform which is shared by the Enyaq, ID.4, ID.3, Ford Explorer and so on. Often the Elroq is referred to as a 'Small EV SUV' however it is a decent size family vehicle, being quite a bit bigger than often compared cars like the KIA EV3 & Smart 1. In fact it is most similar in size to one of its MEB cousins, the Ford Explorer. Therefore, the Elroq is a good medium-sized option, if something like a Tiguan or Kuga suits your needs, then so will this. Skoda have kept the stating prices low, to draw customers in. However luxury features are pricey upgrades when compared to the Ford Explorer with more standard equipment (but a higher starting price), or the likes of KIA and Hyundai vehicles which tend to include all the equipment on each trim, rather than needing to add option packages. Higher end Sportline & vRS models add more standard features, and even the mid-spec Edition (as tested), features Wireless Phone Charging, Adaptive Cruise Control and Key-less Entry & Start. With standard features across the range including, Blind Spot Detection, 11KW Charging, Rear Camera & Rear Sensors.
