Wade Fishing Port Mansfield, Jones Cut 05-12-2026

On Tuesday 05/12/2026, I joined Jody Tittle for a wade fishing trip for flounder and speckled trout. We jumped aboard Jody’s Transport Baby Cat and headed to Jones Cut. Jones Cut is a hidden treasure north of Port Mansfield along the east flats. This area is extremely shallow and sometimes it’s to hard to navigate into Jones Cut. On this wade fishing trip the tides were in our favor. We wade fished in a southern direction working the banks of Jones Cut. Jody and I caught several speckled trout and red fish while wade fishing the area. Jody and I were not able to catch or locate any flounders on this adventure. Like I said at the start of the video this area is hit or miss but when its a hit the flounders are usually stacked good. Hope you enjoyed this wade fishing video for flounders and speckled trout.
