On a remote island in the southern Indian Ocean, wildlife cameraman David Reichert sets out to get closer than ever to one of the ocean’s most powerful predators. Among elephant seals, penguins and violent seas, he follows a clan of orcas whose hunting skills, social bonds and caution toward humans reveal a complex world shaped by survival, memory and learning.
