VGCOA Webinar: ConfirmOK & Wellness Check Programs June 23, 2026 This presentation will explore how ConfirmOk and similar automated wellness check programs can support older adults who are aging in place, particularly those who live alone or may be socially isolated. We will discuss how daily check-in systems are being used by local agencies to provide an additional layer of support and help identify situations where someone may need assistance. The session will include examples of how these programs operate in practice, along with perspectives from law enforcement on the role these services can play in community care and prevention efforts. Sheriff Crawford from Petersburg, Virginia will also share observations from her experience working with these types of programs and her work with seniors in her county.
