DIVAPOD | EPISÓDIO 75 – COMO SOBREVIVI À TENTATIVA DE FEMINICÍDIO

In today's DIVAPOD, we welcome Francisca da Silva, Xica da Silva, a 61-year-old Black woman who transformed pain into strength and now works on the front lines of the fight against violence against women. Xica coordinates the network for combating violence against women in Ribeirão das Neves, is part of the coordination of the Brazilian Forum of Popular Solidarity Economy, is a territorial agent for the Paul Singer Program of the Ministry of Labor, and also works as a chef. In this episode, she shares how she survived an attempted femicide and how she gave new meaning to her life from that experience. A powerful account of pain, courage, reconstruction, and, above all, giving voice to one's own story. ⚠️ Sensitive but necessary content.
