I tried sneaking into the Indian Cricket Team hotel during the World Cup… and the first attempt in Mumbai during the India vs USA match was a complete failure. Security was tight. No access. No players. But I wasn’t giving up. So I flew to Colombo for the India vs Pakistan World Cup match — and this time, things were different. From intense security outside the hotel to the electric atmosphere on match day, I pushed myself to see how close I could get to Team India during the biggest rivalry in cricket. And somehow… I actually managed to get inside and meet legends like Gautam Gambhir, Rinku Singh, T Dilip and many more members of the squad. From failing in Mumbai to redemption in Colombo, this was one of the craziest World Cup experiences of my life.
