Lloyd's River Canoe Camping Trip, Newfoundland, May 8-9, 2024
Lloyd's River solo canoe trip, May 8-9, 2024. Great weather, incredible trip, lots of wildlife (moose, caribou, beaver, osprey, ducks, loons, ptarmigan, hares, owls). Water was a bit too low at 25m3/s, which made rapids a huge boulder garden challenge, almost pinned twice. I would love to do it again and come down from King George Lake if the water were a bit higher.
