Bass Tracker Classic XL 42 MPH top speed run w/ Mercury 60 HP conversion & Trophy Sport propeller

This is not your typical everyday #basstracker Classic XL. This little rig can MOVE! It also puts out speeds comparable to that of a 90HP on its big brother the 175TXW and it's a fairly comfortable ride despite being all aluminum. This is a quick video showing a top speed run. As far as I know, its probably one of, if not the fastest one on record. Mods are as follows: OE 50 HP #mercurymarine outboard converted to a 60 HP NGK BKR6EIX-11/ 3764 Iridium spark plugs Stainless steel 4 blade Trophy Sport propeller 14 pitch Vance Manufacturing hydraulic jack plate SE400 hydrofoil Mods have all been installed by myself. After extensive mods have been performed the total unloaded weight without people the boat is 1402 lbs. total with a dry weight of 1011 lbs without the motor and fuel, putting me at about 231 lbs over OE weight. Top speed achieved in this video was 41.7 - 42 MPH @ 6100 RPM dual GPS verified both on my #gopro and #garmin, which puts it right in line to the speeds achieved by the #mercury 90 HP 1.5L 3 cylinder 2 stroke Optimax. Nominally I tend to see anywhere between 40.7 - 41.7. Holeshot takes about 3 seconds. Not bad for a "little" 60 HP. ;) Lets get you out there!
