Cops Get CAUGHT Faking Evidence — INSTANT REGRET in Court!

Cops Get CAUGHT Faking Evidence — INSTANT REGRET in Court! I'm Jason. After 30 years in the justice system, I break down real cases so you can see how the law actually works. Today's case is State of Ohio v. Jonathan Ward, a case about how far police can go on nothing but a hunch. Ward had a suspended license, so he did the responsible thing - he didn't drive. He called a tow truck to move his car and sat in the passenger seat. But officers were certain there was something in that car, with no warrant and no evidence. So they stopped the tow truck for violations that had nothing to do with Ward, ran a fake sobriety test on the innocent tow truck driver to stall for a K9 unit, and stretched the stop out for thirty-three minutes. When the K9 finally arrived, it couldn't even reach the car - so it alerted on an empty toolbox instead. That became the justification to search the vehicle. This is the suppression hearing where the officers' own body cameras and their own testimony exposed exactly what happened - and what the judge did next ended the case on the spot.
