He studied at the Otto Krause School; he left to begin acting on Radio Argentina with Pedro Tocci's company, where his sister Aída Luz also performed. On that radio station, he performed in Juan Moreira with Malvina Pastorino, did impersonations on Radio Belgrano, and appeared in Doctor Justo Justino Leyes, Doctor of Traps and Laws. He worked as an extra in several radio dramas and films, making his debut in the film "...And Tomorrow They Will Be Men," directed by Carlos Borcosque, and joined various theater companies. His big break came when he joined the group "The Five Greats of Good Humor," along with Zelmar Gueñol, Rafael Carret, Guillermo Rico, and Juan Carlos Cambón, with whom he made films and toured internationally throughout the Americas and Spain. He was chosen as Best Supporting Actor and in 1988 won an international award at the Huelva Film Festival for his work in "Open from 6 to Midnight." He also appeared on television in programs such as "The Humor of Niní Marshall." In 1991, he received the Konex Award - Diploma of Merit in the category of Comedy Actor in Film and Theater. Alongside Jorge Porcel, in addition to acting on television in *Las gatitas y ratones de Porcel*, *La Tota y la Porota*, and *La Piñata*, he co-starred in several plays. He and his sister were honored by the Friends of the Cervantes Theater Association. In 2005, he was interviewed for a film tribute to the actress Niní Marshall. His sister was the renowned actress Aída Luz. In 2007, he received the Silver Condor Award for Lifetime Achievement from the Argentine Film Critics Association. In 2010, he was declared an Illustrious Citizen of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
