With both types of watercolors, I'll only use four colors to achieve all the tones of the portrait; it's a four-color process technique (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black). I'm trying for the first time the technique of starting with a blue base to create volume. It's a real learning process, with its mistakes and tricks for correcting them. I hope it inspires your own drawings!
