HERMES VINTAGE 24 Faubourg vs Current | TheTopNote #perfumecollection

Recently I managed to get my hands on a bottle of "vintage" 24 Faubourg EDT by Hermes. I happen to own the current EDP so I decided to do a bit of a comparison between the two. Though I know the definition of vintage seems to vary, my understanding was that anything around the 20 year mark is considered "vintage". Other times I have heard 30 years and older. Given this fragrance was released in the mid-90's I'm referring to the older bottle as "vintage" for the purposes of this video. Have you tried the older formulations of this fragrance? Here's the thing: 1) this is not my job, it is a hobby and a passion and yes, of course, I want to pronounce things correctly and I continue to try. However, as I film these videos in the limited free time that I have outside of a very demanding full-time job (and a part time voluntary position), the amount of time (and number of takes) required to get the pronunciation right just doesn't always make it feasible. Furthermore, I have often found myself focussing so much on my pronunciation it ruins the flow of the video. 2) I was born and raised in rural Australia, to European parents who were so happy and grateful to be in this country, that they flat out refused to speak anything but english (believe me, as a child I begged them to teach me!). I never even met a French-speaking person until I was well into my 30's. I guess my point is that as an adult, it actually is not easy to pick up languages, even if I listen to a recording, I cannot replicate it. I am trying to learn, but progress is slow, so please be patient. We are all learning in one way or another. So, I hope this provides some clarification as to why I mispronounce things, and also why I no longer respond to DMs and comments relating to this topic...
