Is Kings Island FINALLY Replacing Vortex?

Kings Island has been one of my favorite theme parks for as long as I can remember. Few parks fire on all cylinders the way this one does—an incredible coaster lineup, tons of attractions for every type of guest, top‑tier theming and presentation, and of course, that iconic view from the top of their Eiffel Tower. And with Kings Island ranking as one of the busiest parks in the entire Six Flags chain, continued investment isn’t just expected—it’s essential. Over the past decade, the park has removed two coasters: Firehawk, which made way for Orion, and the beloved Vortex, which took its final bow in 2019.
