Thiruvananthapuram RAJDHANI Express (H Nizamuddin Thiruvananthapuram H Nizamuddin), 12432, 12431, popularly known as the King of Konkan Railways, turned 27 on July 3rd. The Train was introduced on the 3rd day of July 1993 connecting the National Capital, New Delhi with the State Capital, Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) in Kerala. Previously the train was powered by a WDP 3A ALCo locomotive from Golden Rock (GOC) / Ponmalai of Southern Railways and from the past two to three years, the regular link was changed to WDP 4D locomotive from the same shed. Diesel Loco Shed presents a Special Video Compilation on this occasion featuring this legend, captured at different locations. A Special Rare event has been included in this Video, where this train was powered by an ERS WDG 3A locomotive, due to the failure of the Regular WDP 4D Link.
