Hoist rescue of hiker missing for two days.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office received a call where a male hiker stated he was lost on a mountain side near Corona, California, and due to the terrain, was afraid to move any farther. Inclement weather prevented search from the air the first day, so members of the Riverside Mountain rescue unit began a ground search. The second day the weather was not flyable until approximately 11 AM at that same time two members from the ground search team located the male hiker, and he was subsequently hoisted out to paramedics and treated at a hospital.
