The Hidden World Beneath Papplewick Pumping Station

The Underground Reservoir and the Pumping Station In this video we visit the beautiful and historical site of Papplewick Pumping Station and the connecting Papplewick Underground Victorian Reservoir. Operating from 1884 this beautiful example of Nottingham history is on another level. We begin at the engine house, having a look inside whilst everything is operational. Then it's onto the 120 foot tall brick chimney that dominates the site. Finally we take a little look inside the abandoned underground brick built reservoir.
