On this song Rocky Hoery - president of the Colorado Country Hall Of Fame - joins Rudy on vocals. .🎶 🎸 Rudy Grant was born in the cotton fields of Louisiana before moving to Colorado as a young teenage boy. There were hard times, and more than a few lean years, but Rudy’s love for country music and the appreciation and support of caring people helped to start his musical journey playing in the front bar of the Old Four Seasons in Denver in December of 1973. 🎶 🎸 Rudy formed his band Rudy Grant & The Buffalo Riders Band – voted Band of the Year in 2014. Rudy was also voted Entertainer Of The Year by the Colorado Country Music Hall Of Fame (CCMHOF). Rudy and his band adopted the motto “Have Band, Love Traveling, We Love The Miles” and began performing songs by Johnny Cash, Dwight Yoakam, Tim McGraw, John Anderson, Chuck Berry, The Beatles, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Little Richard, Elvis Presley, Fats Domino, James Brown, Otis Redding, Merle Haggard, Charley Pride, Conway Twitty, George Jones, George Strait, Allen Jackson and other Top 40 country artists. The band also opened for and played backup for the wild ragin’ fiddling Cajun - Doug Kershaw, the “Louisiana Man”. 🎶 🎸 After years of playing and touring with the Buffalo Riders Band, Rudy decided to step away from the band. He intends to stay active, doing things musically like performing on Live From Shelton Manor with his friend Rocky Hoery, President of the Colorado Country Music Hall Of Fame, and the wonderful backing band consisting of Jeff Golden, Clip Cookson, Karen Osburn, and Robert.
