1st Flatiron, Boulder CO Multi-pitch rock climb

Multi-pitch trad climbing on the route northernmost from the trail stairs at the base of the 1st Flatiron. Tri-cams, cams, and nuts used for artificial anchors. Natural anchors used when appropriate. Belay station transitions are shown in the video. During pitch two, a brief simul-climb was necessary to get the lead climber to a good belay station after the 60-meter rope length was exhausted. ERNEST anchors at belay stations were a pre-equalized anchor using a 120cm sewn runner, W anchors with an overhand BFK masterpoint, and a W anchor with a clove hitch masterpoint. Note: the later requires an extra locking carabiner since rope shelves should not be used for personal safeties on a clove hitch master point. This was a great trip! And a great excuse to go on a big climb with my brother again! Thanks for the awesome time, Johnny!
