How to grow 1000 lbs of Sweet Potatoes! | Sweet Potato Garden Tour 2022 This year, we decided to try to grow more sweet potatoes than we have ever grown before. We are growing sweet potatoes from slips that we propagated, and we also purchased 500 sweet potato slips from tatorman. In addition to the varieties like Japanese Red, Okinawa, and Hannah sweet potatoes, we are primarily growing Stokes purple sweet potatoes, Vardaman sweet potatoes, Georgia Jet sweet potatoes, Centennial sweet potatoes, and Beauregard sweet potatoes. In this video, we talk about our experience growing sweet potatoes, the many growing styles we have for growing sweet potatoes including growing sweet potatoes in raised beds, growing sweet potatoes in containers, growing sweet potatoes in vertical gardens like our GreenStalk vertical garden, growing sweet potatoes in ground, and growing sweet potatoes in hay bales.
