Chris Kinkade interviews Nick Cassavetes 1986
Before he was a successful director ("The Notebook", "Alpha Dog", "John Q." etc.) Nick Cassavetes was an actor hustling to get gigs. In 1986 he sat down with his long time friend Chris Kinkade who was working as a VJ for "Hit Video USA" to talk about a couple of movies he was in that were about to hit the theaters. Fun behind the scenes fact, this interview was taped at about 2am when Nick arrived in town from New York on his promotional tour and what you see is what could be aired after about 20 or 30 takes because the old friends kept drifting off into subjects that would never have made it on the air such is their colorful history together. This is the first time it has been available in it's entirety since it was aired in 1986. The two remain close friends to this day.
