Virtua Fighter 4 and the PlayStation 2.
Since its first release in arcades in 1993, Virtua Fighter has been synonymous with SEGA consoles, with games from the series releasing on Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, Mega Drive, and even the Game Gear. In 2002 though, with SEGA fans still coming to terms with the company bowing out of the hardware race, Virtua Fighter 4 came to PlayStation 2 ... bringing new eyes to SEGA's premium fighting game for the first time, breaking one of gaming's longest standing traditions in the process.
