Elephant Hill Trail - Epic Overland Off-road Adventure - Canyonlands National Park - Moab, Utah

This is a Jeep Badge of Honor trail. It is about a 2 hour drive from Moab to Canyonlands National park. This trail can easily be done in one day but we chose to make it a two day trip and it was well worth it. We camped one night at the Devil’s Kitchen Campground and it was incredible. Next time we plan on camping 2 or 3 nights just to spend more time there. We hiked The Joint Trail which was amazing and hiked to the Confluence Overlook which is a picturesque overlook of the Green River and the Colorado River confluence. I definitely recommend both hikes as they are 10 out of 10 in my book and they’re both pretty short. I would rate this trail as moderate. A well equipped stock 4x4 could complete this trail with some experienced driving and some good spotting. We ran into a group of Toyota Tacoma’s and they were doing great. Charles Wells lists this trail as one of his all time favorites.
