How To Install a Propeller & Hub Kit on a MERCURY Outboard

I'll show you how I installed a new hub kit in my propeller. A hub kit in a boat propeller is an essential component that connects the propeller to the propeller shaft. The hub kit allows the propeller to rotate smoothly while also providing a means of protecting the drivetrain from damage. I installed my propeller on my Mercury 135 HP outboard. Common Signs Your Hub Kit Needs Replacement: Slipping or Reduced Thrust: If the propeller slips or doesn’t provide proper thrust, the hub kit may be damaged or worn. Vibrations or Noise: Excessive vibrations or unusual sounds could indicate that the hub kit has worn out or is not functioning properly. Loose Propeller: If the propeller feels loose or wobbles, the hub kit may need replacement to prevent further damage. Thanks for watching!
