To be a pilgrim (Bunyan) - arr. for piano by Peter Duckworth (re-release)

John Bunyan (1628-88) was a simple preacher of the gospel, who suffered for his faith because he sought to live according to the dictates of conscience rather than the arbitrary rulings of monarchs as to who could and who couldn't preach. After the restoration of Charles II in 1660, he was made the target of false accusations and, cut off from family life, he was sentenced to 12 years in Bedford gaol. This however turned into a blessing as the 'dream' which he had, which turned into Pilgrim's Progress, became the world's best-selling book after t he Bible, and has brought countless thousands to faith. If you haven't read it - or have only read a children's version - I strongly recommend that you order a copy online and do so, as it is an authentic account of how the Word of God comes to us in all situations of danger, temptation or rest.
