❤️ Watercolor techniques that didn’t work -Art Journal Page

❤️ This is a video of my process creating a page in my Art Journal where I used two watercolor techniques that didn’t work for me in the end. First I used salt on wet watercolor that gave me crystalline, starburst-like textures… but I later on tried to use a glitter ink over it, which covered all the texture. Then I tried out a technique I saw where you use a Q-tip dipped in alcohol to create flower -like texture looking like hydrangeas. I had seen it work on alcohol markers, but it didn’t work at all with watercolors. So I just continued working on my page making the most of it. Hope you enjoy it and even get some inspiration! (on what to do or what NOT to do) Please stay safe, happy and creative!
