A Summer Day in Mersin | Silifke & Erdemli, Türkiye

This video was not filmed as part of a planned trip. I came to Mersin for another purpose and was only able to spend about 20 hours in the region. However, during my short visit, I was truly impressed by the natural beauty of Silifke and its surroundings. That is why I wanted to share at least a small part of what I saw with you. In this video, you will mainly see Silifke, the Göksu River, and the surrounding area. There are also a few short scenes from Erdemli and nearby locations. Since my time was very limited, I did not have the opportunity to explore all the beauties of Mersin. This video reflects only a small part of what I was able to experience. The temperature during filming was around 35°C (95°F). Mersin’s warm Mediterranean climate, crystal-clear sea, fertile plains, and the impressive backdrop of the Taurus Mountains make it one of the most beautiful cities in Türkiye. Mersin is known for its long coastline, historic castles, ancient cities, natural attractions, and unique Mediterranean culture. Silifke, in particular, is one of the most remarkable districts in the region, famous for the Göksu River, its historic stone bridge, ancient landmarks, and beautiful landscapes. I would have loved to spend more time exploring Mersin and discovering the region in greater detail. For now, I hope you enjoy this short walking tour and the beautiful scenery of this wonderful part of Türkiye.
