Odisha Labour Minister Ganesh Ram Singkhuntia said the state government is extending all possible assistance to the affected families. A tragic gas leak incident in Tamil Nadu's Tiruvallur district has claimed the lives of five migrant workers from Odisha. According to Labour Minister Ganesh Ram Singkhuntia, the deceased have been identified as Jimani Juang, Gita Juang, Bhoomia Juang, Shivani Juang, and Phulamani Juang, all residents of Keonjhar district. Odisha government representatives have reached the accident site and are coordinating with local authorities. The process of identification and documentation is currently underway, and the mortal remains of the workers are expected to reach Odisha by tomorrow. The state government has assured comprehensive support to the bereaved families and promised all possible assistance during this difficult time. Reports indicate that a total of 74 workers were affected by the gas leak, while 67 have received medical treatment.
