Coswheel R19 Updated May 2026 Model — Unboxing & Review
What is going on everyone, it's your boy SashaDubz — and today we're taking a look at the Coswheel R19, specifically the May 2026 updated model that dropped on the 12th. I've yet to see a review online about this updated bike so let's get into it! 0:00 — Intro 0:50 — Part 1: The Unboxing — First look at the May 2026 updated R19 straight out of the box 5:43 — Part 2: First Impressions — Build quality, new display, fit & finish breakdown 9:20 — Part 3: All-Terrain Freeride — We swapped on some all-terrain tires and took it out a couple days later. Here's what happened. Part 1: The unboxing — and it didn't go exactly as planned. The second box, which held the front wheel, showed up with some damage. No bubble wrap, no packaging protection, and the wheel actually punctured straight through the cardboard and took some damage because of it. I'm pretty surprised Coswheel didn't put some sort of foam protection in that box. I was able to fix it on the spot and keep the video rolling, but I'll be honest — if you don't have the tools or the know-how, that situation stops your unboxing dead in its tracks. Worth knowing before you order and I hope Coswheel sees this to take note that they should toss in a little extra protection to the second box of the bike order. Outside of that though, the rest of the build quality out of the box was honestly impressive for a ~$2,499 e-bike. Part 2: First impressions -- on the stock thick-treaded dirt bike tires. I wanted to get a feel for the power and suspension before making any changes to the bike, so I kept the session short and focused. Even without pushing it hard, you can immediately feel what the May 2026 upgrade did to this thing. Motor jumped from 6,000W peak to 9,000W, torque went from 120 N·m up to 240 N·m, top speed is now rated at 60 mph, the front suspension is running 220mm long-travel, and they upgraded to dual-piston hydraulic brakes with red calipers. The 72V 40Ah battery giving you up to some actually decent range. I didn't want to tear up pavement or grass on those knobby tires so I kept it short — but I'd already seen enough to know Part 3 was going to be a good time. Part 3: Freeroam -- the one you're going to want to stay for. I got a proper set of all-terrain tires put on and took the R19 out for a real free-roam ride — roads, sidewalks, greenbelts, trails, grass fields, rocky areas, popping up curbs, all of it. This is where the bike actually gets to show what it's about. People always want to bring up the Sur-Ron and Talaria conversation when a bike like this comes out, and look, those are great bikes — but let's not sleep on what Coswheel is doing here. 240 N·m out of a rear hub motor is not something you just brush off, and you feel every bit of it across every terrain type we hit. The suspension handled the transition from pavement to trails to rocky ground without complaint, the brakes gave me confidence when I needed them, and the battery? After 25 miles of genuine mixed-terrain free roaming we still had 65% left. That's not a spec sheet number — that's real world. For what this bike costs, it seriously impressed me. If you're in the market for an e-bike in this price range and the May 2026 update has been on your radar, hopefully this gives you a real look at what you're actually getting — the good and the bad. Drop your questions or thoughts in the comments, I'll be around. Let's ride. 🤘 #CoswheelR19 #Ebike #SashaDubz #R19Update #ElectricMoto #Freeride #EbikeReview #Coswheel2026 #OffRoad #HubMotor #Unboxing
