GRAVÍSSIMO! A verdade por trás dos supostos alienígenas ou extraterrestres!

We live in a time of many spiritual attacks, for the Devil has come to us, “full of great wrath, knowing that his time is short” (Revelation 12:12). In light of this, we need to be ever vigilant and increasingly knowledgeable about the truth of our faith so that we are not deceived. Since we do not know where or how the next attack will come from, we need to speak and teach about all possibilities so that we are not caught off guard by Satan's traps. And it is with this objective that I bring this important explanation about the non-existence of aliens or extraterrestrials, according to the doctrine of the Catholic Church. After all, we do not know what the Devil's next steps will be: he may or may not use these supposed beings from other planets to deceive people, and we need to be prepared for that! Another very important consideration is that in the Bible you will not explicitly find a verse that says: “extraterrestrials do not exist.” You will not find anything about that, just as you will not find anything about many other things. However, if you have even a basic understanding of who God is, what kind of relationship He desires to have with human beings, what His plan of salvation is for us, among other things, then you can conclude that believing in the existence of aliens is completely contrary to Christian teachings. Therefore, let's look at some passages to help you understand better! “I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, obey his voice, and hold fast to him” (Deuteronomy 30:19-20). Another passage: “Choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15). Both passages (as well as several others I could cite) teach the same thing: God gives us the power of choice, that is, free will. Now, where there is free will, there is the possibility of sin, because not everyone chooses God. Where there is sin, there is the need for Redemption. Therefore, how could there be Redemption for extraterrestrials if God made man (Jesus), the only Redeemer, incarnated here on Earth? Even if aliens were superior beings to us, they too would be subject to error. After all, angels (who are superior to us) were created good, in holiness and justice, but ended up falling into sin (many of them) and, as a consequence of their error, were cast into Hell. After that, after the "time of the angels," there was the creation of the entire material universe (according to the Book of Genesis). If aliens existed, they would have been created during this same period. Now, if you admit the existence of sinful extraterrestrials and, at the same time, admit that God became man, like us, with a single life here on earth, you would be admitting one of two things: either that God would abandon aliens to sin and eternal death (which is absurd), or that there is salvation outside of Jesus (which is equally inconceivable). There is no salvation outside of Jesus! The Lord himself affirms: “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). And Saint Peter also teaches us: “This Jesus, the stone that was rejected by you builders, has become the cornerstone. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). And since Jesus is in everything like us, except for sin (Hebrews 4:15), He only had one life: and that was here, on this earth. Therefore, He could not incarnate on various different planets to save different types of intelligent life throughout the universe. So, be careful! All prudence and attention are necessary in these times we live in! Although the Catholic Church does not (yet) have a document that explicitly declares the non-existence of aliens, we need to act according to what we already know about our faith. The Catholic Church, as an institution, does not claim that supposed extraterrestrials are demons in disguise. However, as the saying goes, if something crawls like a snake, has snake teeth, has snake skin, and strikes like a snake, we shouldn't wait for it to bite us before believing it's a snake. We don't know what future strategies Satan will use. Therefore, let's be vigilant and not go around believing everything we see on the internet! And now, tell me: what do you think about aliens?
