Scoping Review Steps - Heather Colquhoun

Heather Colquhoun is an Assistant Professor in the Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy Department at the University of Toronto. She is an Implementation Scientist with expertise in the identification, prioritization and closing of evidence-to-practice gaps in healthcare. She also studies the methodologies used to design and report scoping reviews. This webinar will cover the current best practices for the conduct of scoping reviews. Scoping review steps will be reviewed as will the current methodological guidance to support scoping reviews. Attendees will be introduced to studies that have assessed the quality of scoping reviews and particular areas of conduct that are susceptible to poor quality. The recent publication of reporting guidance for scoping reviews will also be discussed, along with tips based on the collective expertise of the network to which the instructor is associated.
