One of the joys of this painting is loading multiple colors onto a single brush and creating long, flowing leaves with a smooth stroke. I’ll also show you an easy way to create soft, beautiful gradients in the flowers. I think Shunran is actually easier to paint in color than in traditional black-ink Sumi-e.
