High-and-wide transformer on the Reading & Northern | February 24, 2025

We are chasing the Reading & Northern Lehighton to Delano extra, LEDE, as it takes a High & Wide transformer from Norfolk-Southern in Packerton to its eventual destination, Stella-Jones in Delano! Led by GP38-2 #2012, me and ‪@JamieMakin‬ chase them between Nesquehoning and Quakake where it combined with QADE for their final journey to Delano. After seeing the combined QADE/LEDE in Quakake, I decided to head up to Hazleton in hopes to catch the Humboldt and Valmont jobs. I was fortunate to catch the R&N`s Humboldt jobs but not the Valmont local, H98 as the power was still positioned inside the Hazleton shops.
