In this new episode of WAYPOINT, we take you to a spot of rare beauty in Italy, on the sublime Lake Iseo, to hunt a rare pike that lives only in certain environments: Esox Cisalpinus! This "Italian" pike lives only in certain alpine lakes, and with Rémi Seigler, we set out to discover this mysterious fish, which has a magnificent coloration quite different from that of our good old Esox Lucius! The hunt promises to be difficult; Lake Iseo is immense, and it is strictly forbidden to fish with a fish finder on... No live feed, no mapping to optimize drifts... So, Rémi and David will have to fish "the old-fashioned way," relying on information gathered from Italian anglers, their instincts, and their experience.
