OC Transpo Stage 2 LRT Detours: East Transitway Detour, between Blair Station and RR174 (Apr 2022)

This is a video of the detour routing between Blair Station and RR174, following the closure of the original Transitway between Blair and RR174 on April 24, 2022. Officially and effective on April 24, 2022 (though the actual closure date was February 14, 2022), the East Transitway between Blair and Regional Road 174 (RR174) closed down permanantly in order to faciliate the construction activites required for Stage 2 LRT as part of the O-Train East Extension Project -- specifically to convert the remaning portion of the East Transitway to LRT, and to demolish the existing bus flyover bridge that crossover RR174 east of Blair (used by eastbound buses going from Blair to RR174 eastbound). The reason why the East Transitway closure occured on February 14, 2023 was to remove the existing bus-only on/off-ramsp (in both directions) between the Transitway and RR174 ahead of the demolishment of the bus flyover bridge. The official date of the detour for April 24, 2022 is mentioned because Transir Priority measures -- bus lane -- were not made available in the eastbound direction until that date. Note that in the westbound direction, the extension of the bus lane on RR174 westbound to the Blair off-ramp was unavailable until after the bus flyover bridge was demolished. The bus flyover bridge was demolished on the weekend of May 6 to 8, 2022. This video will consist of four clips - two in the eastbound direction, and two in the westbound direction. The reason for two different clips in each direction is show the detour and mtigation measures that went into affect before and after (present) the bus flyover bridge was demolished.
