In this video, we'll practice using "what" to express intangible things in a 3-second training exercise. For example: what I said = what I said what you said = what you said what I want to know = what I want to know what I'm thinking about = what I'm thinking about what I believe = what I believe By treating the part starting with "what" as a single noun phrase, you can express abstract content concisely. You don't need to think about grammatical terms like relative pronouns or noun clauses while you're speaking. First, Start with: What I want to say is... Then, gradually add what you want to say. Just doing this will make speaking English much easier. In the latter half of the video, we also touch upon the difference between "believe" and "believe in," as in "I believe you." ("I believe what you say.") and "I believe in God." ("I believe in the existence of God.") In English, it's more important to clearly convey your thoughts than to speak quickly.
